Bare Boat

STANDARD BOAT PER STANDARD BOAT EQUIPMENT LIST 220V ALL PRICES USD

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Great Boat

Factory Options

5 Cabin 5 head layout in lieu of standard 4 cabin 4 head layout

Opted: NoAgain: No

A choice if you are going just charter the boat

Utility room in lieu of port fwd cabin. Port fwd heads remain for use as a day heads

Opted: NoAgain: No

We wanted 4 cabins, can always use the cabin to store, but if you want guests to come, then you only have 3 cabins, also did not make sense with the utility as it still had a head, so not logical for us

Upholstery Pack 2 - Faux Leather “Artesian”

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Carpets in cabins and corridors – 4 cabin layout. Excludes saloon and galley areas

Opted: NoAgain: No

Carpets are not easy to clean, and we felt we could put rugs down if we really wanted it, also easier to get to the bilges

Full length mirrors for 4-Cabin Layout (4)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Our master cabin comes with full lenght, and we did not feel necessary for our guests to have full lenght for the price

Forepeak berth & heads PORT incl. light, fan, large bowl electric toilet, holding tank, shower sump with electric pump, hand basin c/w combination faucet/shower mixer and outlet socket with integrated USB’s (subject to option B4-4320 or B4-4325 being selected). Includes air conditioning supply (subject to option B4-5256 or B4-5257 being selected)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Again maybe if you are chartering, but we wanted this for storage space

Safe with digital combination lock

Opted: NoAgain: No

Can buy one in Build It for much cheaper

Interior saloon blinds - front & side windows

Opted: NoAgain: No

We opted for after fitment of this

Saloon table convertible to coffee table in addition to standard double bunk conversion

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

This was great for us when just the two of us, we converted the coffee table to a bed and the one off duty could sleep here close to the person on duty

Upgrade to Yanmar 80hp engines with sail drives in lieu of std 57hp engines (2)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Good for the extra power when needed, and we have needed it when we have hit ground to get off

Yanmar VCS electronic throttle and engine display

Opted: NoAgain: Maybe

It is a nice thing to have, but again it is electric and when things go wrong at sea, do you really want to be dealing with electrical solving?

Fusion Marine Stereo with docking station in saloon. Includes Bluetooth, USB, & AUX connectivity. Fusion Marine speakers in saloon (2) & aft cockpit (2). Wired remote control at helm station. - Note: Raymarine MDFs (not included in option) & personal wireless devices (only if connected wirelessly to Raymarine MFD via the Raymarine APP) can control system

Opted: NoAgain: Maybe

I did fit it later myself, but maybe it would have been better from the factory.

External speakers in fwd cockpit: 2 x speakers with wired remote and amplifier

Opted: NoAgain: Maybe

See above comment

External speakers on coachroof lounge: 4 x speakers with wired remote and amplifier.

Opted: NoAgain: No

Not sure if they would work there and we have a JBL portable that the kids use

Raymarine Base Pack: includes VHF (Multizone) at Nav station & additional VHF handset at helm, p70 colour autopilot display, AXIOM9 Multifunction display in lieu of AXIOM7 Multifunction display and i70 Colour instrument at Helmstation. With retractable depth & speed, plus wind transducers

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

You want to be able to see and listen on both nav and helm, I even did more displays and larger screen at Helm

Opted: NoAgain: No

Did it as after fitment

Additional i70 Display at Helmstation (Requires Base Pack)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Because it is then centered by the factory

Additional Axiom 9” Multifunction display with WiFi at nav station in saloon. (Requires Base Pack)

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

We added one in the master cabin. We would change the location to be closer to where we have our heads on the pillows as it allows us to see what is happening as soon as we open our eyes. This one in the cabin made my wife very happy — when she was off duty and woke up, she could quickly see what was happening. Done as after fitment.

Autopilot Wireless remote smart controller at Nav station (Requires Base Pack)

Opted: NoAgain: No

See above comment

Raymarine Automatic Identification System with AIS Transceiver. (Requires Base Pack)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

As you need to have AIS when sailing.

12kW Global Shore Power. Powers fixed equipment only, excludes outlet sockets (outlets included in B4-4320/4325) - Includes 125/250V 50A shore power cable with stainless steel inlet, US 125/250V 50A to Euro 230V 32A adapter, reverse Y adapter, 125/250V 50A inlet, 12kW isolation transformer with boost function and AC switch panel (Full capacity useable from 1 x US 50A, 2 x US 30A or 1 x European 32A shore power supply)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

I also added later as after fitment a Victron 110V to 220V converter, so that I am able to plug into 110V

Universal outlet sockets in lieu of standard regional sockets. Must be taken with option B4- 4320 or B4-4325

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Was a zero cost item. But we did ask them to put in EU plug points

Battery Charger - 12V 100A. 90-265V, 45-65Hz Input (Only for boats with shore power or genset options)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Did it as after fitment

Shaver outlets in heads, combination 220v with transformer current protection—(4). (Only for boats with 220V outlets, option B4-4325)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Opted: NoAgain: No

Did it as after fitment

Ventilation fans in cabins only for 4 cabin layout (4)

Opted: YesAgain: No

Yes you need fans, but I would as an after fitment add USB points close to where you would want to place the fans and purchase fans on Amazon. The ones the factory installs are so far from the bed they add no value! We got Koonie fans which you can clip on, charge, and also use outside. These are used 24/7 and are easy to clean, unlike those ugly ones from the factory.

Windlass "up" footswitch

Opted: YesAgain: No

Never used it

Genset - Northern Lights 9kW supplied from aft port fuel tank, fuel transfer ability from stb to port tank. Only for boats with shore power pack

Opted: NoAgain: No

Cost was outrageuos, could source my own generator cheaper, so i did opt for the provision for it

Provision for genset (includes fuel supply, ventilation blower, auxiliary fuel/water pumps, light, exhaust & cooling water systems with through hull fittings. Excludes genset unit & control panel, battery & AC wiring). Only for boats with shore power pack

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Even if you do not put a generator in, it is all setup for you if you change your mind

Chilled Water Air Conditioning (4 Cabin) - Frigomar BLDC chiller unit (70000BTU/h maximum capacity). Includes 2 x 12000BTU/h, 3 x 5000BTU/h & 1 x 8000BTU/h air handlers with 5 x digital control panels. Raw water and coolant circulation pumps. (Only for boats with shore power or genset options)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

As I wanted it to be factory fitted and it is worth it

Provision for air conditioning (4 cabin). Includes ducting, vents, raw water hoses with thru hull fittings & strainer. Excludes chiller unit, pumps, air handlers, controllers, wiring & chilled water piping

Opted: NoAgain: No

Not needed as we took their Air Conditioner

Electric main sheet winch - (1) (in lieu of std manual winch) - Recommend taking B4-4515 along with this option

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

We took this option away as we did not think it was necessary for me when it is not one you use all the time, however it is we noticed really nice for the wife, as i am usually the one that goes up to the mast and then she struggles with that being manual

Electric Furling System - For Genoa Only (Recommend taking option B4-4515 along with this option)

Opted: NoAgain: No

More electric things that can go wrong

Motorised TV lift at nav station (excludes TV) - (requires B4-4320 and B4-4325 for AC power requirements)

Opted: YesAgain: Not sure

We rarely use that tv, so i suppose it is something you would need to concider.

Provision for TV in saloon - c/w AC outlet - (requires B4-4320 and B4-4325 for AC power requirements)

Opted: NoAgain: No

If anything I would do the lifting TV

Provision for TV in owner's cabin (4-cabin layout only) - swing bracket and AC outlet - (requires B4-4320 and B4-4325 for AC power requirements)

Opted: YesAgain: No

Did not fit, and to be honest it takes a lot of space and we actually have our iPad on a swivel and that works well

Provision for TV in all cabins (4-cabin layout only) - swing bracket and AC outlet - (requires B4-4320 and B4-4325 for AC power requirements)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Again more electric goods that do not like sea, you cannot get a "Marine TV" so it will rust and we suppose to enjoy the ocean, not in our cabin watching tv

Microwave oven in galley (220V)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Hell no, it is ugly and small and expensive

Solar panels 100w each fitted to hard top - (4)

Opted: NoAgain: No

We did it as after fitment

Sterling alternator to battery charger. Includes button at helm to link engine batteries to house batteries (Not to be ordered with option B4-4550)

Opted: NoAgain: No

We did it as after fitment

Underwater Lights - 2 x Blue mounted in stern

Opted: YesAgain: No

Never use them and have to keep the lights clean from barnicles otherwise it does not give much light anyway

Electric fresh water flushing toilets: Sanimarin in lieu of electric salt water flushing toilets for 4 cabin layout

Opted: NoAgain: No

Did this as after fitment

11 Gal Water Heaters in lieu of 6 Gal Water Heaters - (2) 220V

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Just gives more hot water

Watermaker: Spectra Newport 400 (12 volt), 63 ltr/17 USgal per hr; incl MPC-3000 controller system plus optional Z-Brane electronic water treatment system

Opted: NoAgain: No

We did it as after fitment as we could put a bigger watermaker in. We opted for the Echotec 50 gallons per hour. It does take a lot of power so a generator is required! However, it makes enough water. We did have an issue with one of the membranes, but since it comes with 3 membranes we could make a plan to bypass the faulty one and still make water — now at 35 gallons an hour, so we were not without water. It can run on 1 membrane and would then only make 15 gallons. Great backup.

Sea water inlet seacock with hose led above the waterline (for future watermaker installation)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Needed for water maker

Washer/dryer (220V) installed in Port corridor. Must be taken with: 220V inverter (B4- 4325) and Battery Charger (B4-4160)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

We only use the washer part, so would see if I could upgrade the washing machine in lieu of the factory option

220V Dishwasher in Galley (Can only be taken with Genset or Shore Power Options). Cannot be taken with option B4-7740/41/57/58 or B4-7760

Opted: NoAgain: Wife says Yes

For if there is only two of us on the boat to make life easier, I am willing to wash the dishes

Deck wash fitting & pump - dual fresh/salt water system

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

I would for sure add as after fitment a deck was in the aft of the boat somewhere as an after fitment

Stern shower: Hot/cold water in lieu of cold only

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it

Refrigerator in aft cockpit 12v. Not to be ordered with options B4-7751, B4-7750 or B4- 8200)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

More fridge space and really convenient

Electric Grill: 220V built into wet locker in aft cockpit (Only for boats with shore power option)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

We have used it and it works, it is not above the dinghy which many other people opt for, we would just make sure we get more tinfoil inserts as cannot find them easy

Wine cooler (220V) in galley (Can only be taken with option B4-4325. Not to be ordered with B4-6700/10 or B4-7740/57/58/60)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Power conservation is important

Icemaker installed in aft cockpit (220V) - in lieu of cockpit storage locker (Only for boats with shore power option) - Not to be ordered with options B4-7710, B4-7750 or B4-8200

Opted: NoAgain: No

Take the fridge

Icemaker installed in galley 220V (Not to be ordered with B4-6700/10 or B4- 7740/41/55/58/60)

Opted: NoAgain: No

We took a portable small unit and works fine

Refrigerator installed in galley 12v (Not to be ordered with B4-6700/10 or B4- 7740/41/57/60)

Opted: NoAgain: More info

We would for sure take more fridge and freezer space, just not sure where this was going to be placed and what cupboard space we would loose

Freezer installed in galley 12v (Not to be ordered with B4-6700/10 or B4-7740/41/57/58)

Opted: NoAgain: More info

See above comment

Exterior Pack 1 – Charcoal (Grey)

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Would love the factory to have an option for Copper Coat as this is much better than the anti foul they put on

Aft cockpit side and back shade curtains

Opted: YesAgain: No

Would do our own design after getting used to the boat, we now have a different shade on our boat

Aft Cockpit Cushions (Seats & backrests) - Not to be ordered with B4-8300

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

We have seen many people not take this and have them made after fitment, but the quality is not the same in our opinion

Fwd Cockpit Cushions (Seats & backrests) - Not to be ordered with B4-8305

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

See comment above

Helm Seat Cushion

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Again not sure why this is not standard! Upstairs is, but this is not?

Foredeck Lounging Cushions - Full Foredeck

Opted: NoAgain: No

We did not opt for this and not even the half option, do not think we would have used it anyway

S/S cockpit table stools - (2)

Opted: NoAgain: No

Tnis one we went up and down on after fitment, but are happy we did not take this. It takes away space

S/S dive bottle rack - holds 4 bottles

Opted: NoAgain: No

This i do think is if you are divers, you would take it, we do not dive so we only snorkle so it is not for us

Leather covered steering wheel

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

It gives the boat a upmarket feel

Black powder coated steering wheel

Opted: NoAgain: No

See above

Custom S/S davit system with tackle c/w electric winch

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

This is a must for your dinghy

Winch type lifting platform with folding chocks

Opted: NoAgain: No

Seen many people comment about the problems, the idea sounds nice if you on a dam, but on the ocean you dealing with waves, currents etc and they fail

Teak aft cockpit table in lieu of standard GRP table

Opted: NoAgain: No

Got to maintain that wood! And we decided to get a leather cover made for our fibre glass table to avoid items sliding around. we also had a lazy susan made

Composite teak decking (Colour - Weathered with White Caulking): aft & fwd cockpits, helm platform, transom steps, side deck steps and coachroof lounge

Opted: NoAgain: Maybe

We did after fitment, but I might say that i would like to see the factory one, as we are having decoloring on the teak from after fitment

Asymetric spinnaker running rigging

Opted: YesAgain: Maybe

I think there is a better design

Boom Cover (stackpack) - as per exterior pack choice

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

We had our boat name put on the pack

Bowsprit c/w roller furler (incl. running rigging excl. sail/s)

Opted: NoAgain: No

We opted to have a Oxley that we order as after fitment, our best decision ever. love the Oxley

Code 0 (All round light weather sail - Sheeted inside or outside) - sail only

Opted: NoAgain: No

See Oxley comment, and you got to store this sail

Code D (Downwind light weather sail - Sheeted outside) - sail only

Opted: NoAgain: No

See Oxley comment, and you got to store this sail

Square Top mainsail with Karver Hook in lieu of std main can only be taken with B4-0002

Opted: NoAgain: No

We were taught to always sail with 1 reef in, because you do not want to have to reef when a squal hits you, and going all the way to the top will not give you that much speed. We actually usually sail only with the Genoa out as it is a lot easier to handle

Gori Single Pitch folding propeller upgrade for optional Yanmar 80hp engines w/saildrive in lieu of std fixed props (2)

Opted: NoAgain: No

We did this in after fitment and asked them to give us the original props as spares

Upgraded Super-T lines including main haylard, genoa halyard, topping lift, reef lines and code 0 halyard & furler control

Opted: YesAgain: No

The lines you get work the best with UV, Daneema is better in strenght etc, but what they do not tell you is that it does not like the sun

Upgraded Ultra X Dyneema Norlam high performance North Sails (square top main and genoa incl. Karver hook) in lieu of standard main sail and genoa – as per exterior pack. Recommend taking option B4-9530 with this option.

Opted: NoAgain: No

See above

55lb (25kg) Delta anchor c/w 165ft (50m) chain

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

But at after fitment we took a bigger anchor and used this one as our spare anchor

230ft (70m) anchor chain in lieu of 165ft (50m) chain

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

We have used it all, going for 100m i am not sure yet if I would do that

Anchor bridle, shackles and hook

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

And this is not standard? But yeah you want a bridal

Black fenders (6), black mooring lines (4, 16mm x 10m), black spring lines (2, 16mm x

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

and we took 2 more fenders but bigger ones as an after fitment option

Transport, documentation and commissioning package: includes anti-fouling paint,

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Have to option

CE Safety Package including 8 man life raft, U-bolts and tie downs

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

And we in after fitment moved it to above the aft saloon behind the helm there is space there

Cape Town delivery including full detailing, full fuel tanks, and 3 days of dockage in V&A

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

We loved going to Cape Town, got an airbnb right on the marina and watched all the after fitment done every day

High Field CL380 with FCT steering Dinghy with 25hp Yamaha 4 stroke

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Dinghy is required

Aftermarket Fitment

Full inside blinds including back. "black out" the back of the pull down

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

It is such a better system than the factory option, wish they could do it downstairs as well

Raymarine Doppler Quantum 2

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Much better quality than the factory option

Raymarine birds eye view, can you add one rear & forward facing

Opted: YesAgain: No

I tried to use it, but i usually stand on the side of the helm and operate the engine throttles and look on my Starboard side and my wife communicates with me what is happening on Port side, so invest in head phones it is a huge difference

6 x additional plugs, must be European

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

I actually think it ended up being many more, but this was the original order we asked for

Full install, make sure there is ventilation out top for heat from inverters. 2 x Victron 5kw inverters that can work independant of each other. 2 x Sterling units 130A each, Cyrix battery protect system, Victron Cerbo touch screen, Universal to European outlet included, 5 Victron LifePo4 300Ah batteries. This system will run the whole boat, not only selected plugs!

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

I might even now concider 24V system, but it was too new when we got the boat

Solbian x 3 248w

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

These are walk on solar, not as efficient, but safer than glass solar panels, I would add a later for cooling so that they are as efficient as they can be.

SunPower x 4 400w on SS Frame make sure a board can fit so check spacing, 2 Victron Smart MPPT controllers

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

I would take the biggest watt you can, 400 was the biggest at the time we installed, we only took 4 as we did not like the hang over the sugar scoops, but that is personal preference i suppse

4 x heads able to switch over to fresh water flushing

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Saves on fresh water when sailing

Echo Tex 1399 AML 220V installed in bilge on Port Forward cabin including overflow to basin

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

I asked for the overflow in the basin of the port forward cabin as it is just easier. I would do some changes on this to make it easier to work with. I might even put a back up 12V system as this has to run with the generator as it takes a lot of power and if the generator fails you cannot make water

Strata glass enslosure helm and aft saloon.

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

This is a must for when it is cold and if it rains that you still can use the aft saloon

Oxley and upgrade top mast

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

As mentioned before, the Oxley has been one of our most favorite and easy sails to operate in down wind conditions, which is the crossing of the Atlantic from Cape Town

Gori folding Prop

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Makes it nice and silent when sailing as they fold away, They forgot to tell us that you need to put the throttle in reverse for a few seconds so that they can fold.

Keep Delta 25kg anchor as 2nd anchor, add 8m 10mm chain with 60m warp

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Even though we have not used it, rather we have it and not use it than need it and not have a spare anchor

Liferaft cradle mounted on stb lounge side roof

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Otherwise it is under the seat in the aft saloon, and in an emergency you will not have time to get it out as it is heavy, besides that it takes storage space.

Axiom 12 Pro at the helm, plus additional p70 (factory put in the i70

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Worth it for controls on the side when the screen gets so hot you cannot touch it

Wood extensions over the port side (above washing machine and next to helm) and on the starboard fwd side

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Gives a lot more room to pack stuff, our ice machine fits on the starboard fwd wood extension

Racor filter

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Help keep fuel clean

Chain counter and windlass

Opted: YesAgain: No

Just had problems, both replacements have failed so we cannot see a count, very handy, but system not working

Stabilizer Bar for Helm Seat

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

It helps to stop the engine vibration coming through the seat and cost is not much

Added one drawer on the standard two drawers in Master Cabin

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

It just gives us extra drawer space. So was a good move

Change the black tank valves

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

We changed the ones that came from the factory that we could not even open or close, I actually broke one totally off, we reaplced it with a brass tap style valve and it works like a dream, my grandchildren can even turn it to open the valve. Sure it takes a few turns, but never had we had a problem with it

Flag Pole on aft

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

To at least have your boat flag on a flag pole

Curtesy flag lines on the spreader

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

To ensure you can fly your curtesy flag when entering a country, remember it has to be higher than your boat flag, also have to fly a quarantine flag

Down lighters on the spreaders

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Although we do not use it often, it is nice when no moon to put them on so you can locate your boat.

Radar deflector

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

Not expensive and makes you more visable

Electrical and Plumbing Spares

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

I asked them for a box of spares for electrical items on the boat, like fuses etc and then also spares for the piping on the boat. Both have come in handy

Go Bag, Flares and a 5L bottle of water

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

This must always be ready when sailing, when something happens you need to grab and go

Canvas storage Bag under the helm seat

Opted: YesAgain: Yes

They will make it up for you to hang under teh helm seat, handy storage space

Should Have Added

Wash down pump in Aft Saloon

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

When you catching fish to be able to wash down with sea water or fresh water would be a great advantage

115V to 230V Victron converter

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

Opens up the ability to go into Marinas who only have 115V , We have now fitted one. Has a switch in the port engine room, with two trip switches, always set to off, so when you come in, you have to decide what voltage you have to use, change the switch over to that voltage and put up the breaker for that line. Once you disconnect the power the rule is to check all breakers are switched to off and the selector is also on the off position

Fusion Marine Audio - proper install

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

We installed it afterwards by ourselves but only two zones being aft and fwd saloons, and we love it, but I would for sure have 3 zones maybe 4 for upstairs. Aft Saloon, Main Saloon, Fwd Saloon (and maybe upstairs lounge)

Switch over system for water

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

Switch over system on all showers and taps. At home you usually have a hand shower that is on a seperate circuit so we would have set up that it runs back into the tanks on the main line and you have to push the "hand shower" button to get the water through the boat shower heads, this way while you wait for hot water it is going back into the tank., when you counted to 15 you push the button and you have instant hot water on your shower. The same system upstairs by the sink, open a tap, wait 15 seconds push button and it switches over to the faucet/tap and there is instant hot water until then, it is running back into the tanks.

Hand Rail on Master Cabin

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

It is hard to get to or from the Master Cabin when in rough seas as their is no railing to hold onto

Vanity in Master Cabin

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

We tried to get them to do this at After Fitment in South Africa but the installer was bad, but we wanted to change this to drawers

Blind in all rooms

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

Burn what Leopard gave us, and instal blockout at least in the Master Cabin. I think the new Leopard 46 has this changed it allows you access to the shelves that are there so the blinds need to be against the windows, because once the blinds are closed you cannot access the shelf at this moment

Shoe cabinet under Cupboard in Master Cabin

Opted: NoAgain: Yes

I think the new Leopard 46 has this, and it is a great idea to put a shoe drawer under the cupboard, it is wasted space and can be utlized

Should be a two door cupboard, not a 1 door for easy access
